GHK-CU
GHK-Cu is the copper(II) complex of GHK (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine), a naturally occurring tripeptide first identified in human plasma. It is supplied as a lyophilised powder for laboratory research applications only.

Research overview
GHK was first described in 1973 as a factor in human plasma, and it binds copper(II) with high affinity. Laboratory research examines the influence of GHK-Cu on fibroblast activity, collagen, elastin and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, and wound-healing signalling relevant to dermatological research models.

Laboratory research use only
This product is supplied strictly for laboratory research use. It is not a medicine, food, cosmetic, or dietary supplement, and is not for human or animal consumption. Any use outside a documented laboratory research protocol is prohibited.
Handling
For laboratory use, reconstitute with a sterile diluent appropriate to the research protocol, introducing the diluent slowly against the vial wall to minimise peptide degradation. Do not shake.

Evidence status
Most published research on GHK-Cu comes from cell culture and animal studies, and a large share of it from a small number of research groups. GHK-Cu is widely used as a cosmetic ingredient (INCI name copper tripeptide-1), but controlled clinical studies are scarce. It is not approved as a medicine by any regulator.
