Research overview
Tirzepatide is built on the native GIP sequence, with changes that give it activity at both the GIP and GLP-1 receptors. A C20 fatty diacid chain on lysine 20 binds albumin and gives a half-life of about five days. Research has examined how combined GIP and GLP-1 receptor activity affects insulin secretion, glucose control, body weight and fat metabolism.

Laboratory research use only
This product is supplied strictly for laboratory research use. It is not a medicine, food, cosmetic, or dietary supplement, and is not for human or animal consumption. Any use outside a documented laboratory research protocol is prohibited.
Handling
For laboratory use, reconstitute with a sterile diluent appropriate to the research protocol, introducing the diluent slowly against the vial wall to minimise peptide degradation. Do not shake.
